After the re-issue of “Homo Homini Lupus” (1999) and the successful “Live in Bloom”, Locanda delle Fate re-opens their archives, and return to AMS Records with a special release.

Locanda delle Fate should not need any introduction, as they’re universally known as the authors of one of the greatest Italian progressive rock masterpieces in 1977, that “Forse le lucciole non si amano più” that should simply be included in any prog-rock dedicated listener.

The audio material is divided into three parts:
• 4 tracks recorded live in 1974, when the band used to play other prog artists’ cover songs (in this specific case, songs by Gentle Giant, PFM and Formula Tre);
• 5 pieces presented live in ’77 on TV on the first Italian television RAI channel;
• 2 new unreleased tracks

Dopo la doverosa ristampa di “Homo Homini Lupus” (1999) e il fortunato “Live in Bloom”, la Locanda delle Fate schiude nuovamente i propri archivi, e torna su AMS Records con una release speciale.

La Locanda delle Fate non dovrebbe necessitare di presentazioni, in quanto band autrice nel 1977 di uno dei massimi capolavori di rock progressivo italiano, quel “Forse le lucciole non si amano più” che non può assolutamente mancare nella discografia di chiunque si professi appassionato di certe sonorità.

Il materiale musicale si divide in tre parti:
• 4 brani registrati dal vivo nel 1974, quando la band era solita suonare brani di altri artisti prog (in questo caso specifico, di Gentle Giant, PFM e Formula Tre);
• 5 pezzi interpretati nel ’77 sul primo canale RAI della televisione italiana, in un’esclusiva presentazione del disco delle “Lucciole”
• 2 tracce inedite
